There will not be two separate vaccines for H1N1 and seasonal flu this year. The H1N1 strain will be in the seasonal influenza vaccine. We will update the website as soon as we know of an arrival date for the vaccine.

Please be aware that the newest recommendation from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is for universal vaccination.  Thus, we recommend that all of our patients ages 6 months and older receive a flu vaccination.

We have received about one third of our requested flu vaccine shipment as of today, 9/15/10.  We are asking that you call and schedule a nurse visit appointment to receive this injection.  Our nurses have already called our high risk patients to schedule their flu vaccine.

10/28/10  We have received our complete shipment of seasonal flu vaccine from Sanofi Aventis.  Please call the office to schedule a nurse visit appointment for your child if you wish for him/her to receive this recommended vaccine.  If your child has a well child check up appointment in the near future we will plan to vaccinate him/her at that visit and not at a separate nurse visit slot.
