Influenza this season

The best way to prevent yourself and your family from getting the flu is with vaccination.

If you think that your child has the flu. Don't panic. Symptoms may include: fever, congestion, cough, some vomiting, fatigue, and body aches. If your child has these symptoms, make an appointment to be seen. If we catch the flu within 48 hours, we can often give medicine to help alleviate symptoms. Remember that most healthy children recover well from the flu. Do not return to school before fever and symptom free for over 24 hours. This helps decrease the spread of influenza.
